  1. Hi Gretchen I currently teach sixth grade ELAR. I attended your workshop when you came to Texas A & M Texarkana, Texas. I have to admit that up to this point I have not felt comfortable teaching writing. After attending your workshop, purchasing some of your books, and gathering materials online I feel as though I no longer need a life vest when presenting a writing challenge to my students. I want my students to better prepared when they move on to the seventh grade. Thanks for all you do for teachers!!!
