Animating "still shots" in writing

If you put three or four still shots together, notice how they can look like a choppy video? 
 That's how animation works.  
And if you have three or four still shots in writing, they can provide similar movement.  This is how we track movement of the mind, by taking several "snapshots" or "thoughtshots" as Barry Lane calls them, and putting them into a sequence.  What sequence?  Any.  And if we don't like how they work out, we can change them.  

That's what the text structures help writers create.
